Tempered glass is heat-treated to be 4–5 times stronger than standard annealed glass. When broken, it shatters into small, blunt granules instead of sharp shards. Alberta Building Code requires tempered glass in shower enclosures, glass doors, sidelites, low windows, glass railings, and table tops. We supply tempered glass panels cut to your exact dimensions, with edge polishing, hole drilling, and notch cutting completed before the tempering process.

Laminated glass consists of two glass layers bonded with a plastic interlayer (PVB or SGP). When broken, the interlayer holds fragments in place, preventing dangerous fallout. Laminated glass is required for overhead glazing (skylights, canopies), security applications, and certain railing systems. We supply laminated glass in clear, tinted, and frosted configurations.

Pattern glass (also called obscure glass or textured glass) provides privacy while transmitting light. We stock rain, reed, fluted, hammered, cross-reed, and glue-chip textures. Pattern glass is commonly used in bathroom windows, interior doors, sidelites, cabinet doors, and decorative partitions.
